Coaching and Consulting with Individuals and Organizations
I have known Walter Bacigalupo for several years as a friend
and employer, as well as a fellow poet and creative thinker. As a trade, I
edited Walter's recent book of poems and he offered to do a session with me. I
was unsure of what strategies and methods Walter would use, but I tried to
remain open-minded about his desire to help me. It's easy to remain open around
Walter, he's that type of personality and it is an asset he should be proud of
as his warmth and listening skills are conducive to creating a constructive,
relaxing atmosphere during his work.
I was seeking new light shed on old problems and conflicts that drag me down
and sometimes follow me around--family problems, self-image and artistic
direction were the chief, identified conflicts at the time. The work Walter and
I did together was eye-opening because I felt I could lay out the feelings and
reactions I consistently experience in relations to various problems and Walter
offered new perspectives on those old problems and the cycles of my thought
processes and emotions. I brought several objects that seemed important to me
and Walter had me arrange them around me on the floor. By talking about the
objects and their significance to me, we addressed other more personal issues
that arose in those discussions. Together we noticed how a sense of playfulness
seemed to be important to me as I consistently felt most comfortable with
objects involved with games or playing. Through our subsequent discussion, this
revealed to me that I tend to take emotional problems very, very seriously
while in actuality they mightn’t be any more serious than a parking ticket or
easily remedied problem. I allow emotional connections and conflicts to build
up in me as if they are life or death situations and that is unrealistic and
damaging for me. Often the emotional conflicts I'm experiencing, covertly and
overtly, are no more serious than a game, and that while respecting certain
rules I can benefit from treating problems more like a game and less like
vastly important conflicts.
Walter, as I've said, is a very welcoming person with great listening skills.
His questions are respectful yet direct enough to cause self-reflection and his
genuine concern was evident from start to finish during the session. Knowing
some of what Walter has gone through in his own life, I am impressed to see him
take his own challenging experiences, his own suffering, and turn it into a
positive that another person might benefit from. I'm grateful for the time
Walter and I worked together and I wish him all the best in his continued work
with those searching for a deeper and more conscious experience.

The energy work that Walter does truly speaks to a person in the present as well as opens a door for what can be possible in the future. His ability to be extremely present during a session allows for questions that truly assist an individual with digging deeper. In my session with Walter, I brought objects that represented different areas of my life and were meaningful to me. With his guidance, I was able to understand even more about what the objects represented - they truly helped me to make more connections with what was happening in my life. I left the session with an incredible sense of knowing more about my life journey.
After first working with Walter, I asked if he would feel comfortable
working with my eight year old son. He was very willing to work with
him and my son left the session with an incredible presence about him -
he seemed to feel confident in who he was. Walter has much to offer
with his energy work - truly a gift to those embracing their own
journey.

Vitamin N - Integrative Nutrition Counseling and Thai Yoga Massage Therapy
I decided I wanted to work with a nutritionist to learn to eat better and to gain support in my (constant) quest to loose weight. Two things happened almost immediately – 1) I learned that Nathalie is much MUCH more than “just a nutritionist” and 2) when you have the support and understanding of a qualified nutritionist that constantly thinks outside the box, loosing weight becomes a far second to simply learning more about your body and what you put in it.
Each and every session I had with Nathalie provided me with new and interesting discoveries and information about health, nutrition and the human body. Her style of teaching is that of a coach, someone who is supporting you and encouraging you to take the tools and information she gives you and move forward in your progress independently rather than someone who simply gives you information and wishes you luck! She is a partner with every step of her program.
I plan on “continuing my education” with Nathalie and hope to enlighten many of my friends and family with her expertise. And one more thing – she is amazing at Thai Yoga Massage!!
Thank you!
LW, Wayland

Meeting Nathalie has been the most inspiring thing that has happened to me in the past few years! People come into your life for a reason and Nathalie came to me to prove that I could be free of pain and anguish both physically and emotionally. She has an infectious sense of joy and well-being and is also adept at understanding where I am at a given time and space. Whether it is her massage techniques or yoga encouragement or her healthy lifestyle initiatives Nathalie is someone anyone can learn from and it is a gift to be in her presence. I would be remiss to not mention how a massage with Nathalie provides the body/mind a new beginning......
See you soon,
Yvonne Baehr-Robertson

Working with Nathalie has improved my quality of life. From the Thai Yoga massages that improve my physical AND mental health to the nutritional counseling that has made me much more aware of the importance of what/when/how I eat, meeting Nathalie has been a blessing.
Have a blessed day,

I was driving by on Main Street in Watertown and noticed a sign at a yoga place that also offered massages. I decided to check and discovered they offered Thai massages which sounded interesting so I booked an appointment. That’s how I met Nathalie more than 3 years ago and I’ve been a dedicated client ever since that chance meeting.
Nathalie is an exceptional massage therapist; she knows exactly where I need special attention and is able make me feel “normal” again after each session. A relationship between a client and her massage therapist requires trust and I trust her explicitly. She has the ability to make me feel comfortable and relaxed without even trying. I can’t tell you how many times prior to our sessions where I’m tensed, stressed and just feeling out of sorts, but after an hour and half with her I feel like I can do backflips or climb Mt. Everest (I don’t, but I feel I can…).
I’ve gone to many massage therapists before, some I’ve liked and some I’ll never go back to, but she’s the only one I’ve had such a long-time relationship with. I’ve recently recommended her to my family & friends as I’ve been a bit selfish and wanted to make sure she had time for me. So far the feedback I’ve received from family and friends is they also think she is fabulous!

Dear Nathalie,
Thank YOU for bringing us all together for a healthy Thursday evening! I had such a nice time listening, laughing and learning more about myself and my friends. I have definitely noticed a difference in my energy (I have stayed away from white potatoes, pasta and bread since Friday morning and I feel really good. Also - I am sleeping well. I only wake at night if Christian stirs (which is less frequent now since his digestive tract is a probably less tight).
I look forward to seeing you again in the near future (as are the other ladies). I think you did a wonderful job managing us and our crazy sense of humor. One of the most important things you did was make everyone feel important. I never felt like you had somewhere else to be (even though it was late at the end of a work week). You allowed everyone the time she needed to share her thoughts, needs and questions. I also loved how you asked us what we thought we could do before giving us advice.
It is powerful to meet someone that is doing what she is passionate about. I will be in touch. My family thanks you.
Peace,
Elizabeth Goranson

I am so grateful to have found a Thai massage therapist such as yourself. Your creativity shines through your technique and your touch is one that both guides and listens. Thanks to our treatments I have acquired more flexibility in my life: Physically, my joints and muscles have opened; Emotionally, I am more centered and flexible to life's challenges. Your intuition never ceases to amaze me as you always know exactly where I am holding tension in my body. Through our sessions I am able to let go of the stress. I have received and studied Thai massage both in the US and in Thailand. A session with you unites all that I have experienced in parts with other therapists.

Nathalie,
I hope that your other clients tell you what an amazing job you do...you appear to "give your all" when you do the Thai massage and find desperately needed areas to either remove soreness or add drained energy.

Hi Nathalie,
I just wanted to thank you for your help, you've been such a great inspiration to me and in helping me kick my bad habits. I really appreciate you and your guidance and good nature and i just wanted to say thanks. I think with you I'll be able to make a big change in my diet and with my lifestyle....as I know I don't have too much to work on but if you could just get me over the idea of eating bad things i will be forever grateful to you.
Take care,
Karen

As a 55 year old woman who is healthy and reasonably fit, I wasn't sure that I needed nutrition counseling with Nathalie. I decided to give it a try and now, as I am about to sign up for my second session, I realize that my previous knowledge was generalized and not geared to my own body. I have learned a great deal about the Ayurvedic and Chinese approaches to nutrition, but Nathalie has adapted many of these principals so that her suggestions are practical and easy to integrate into my lifestyle. I highly recommend Nathalie to anyone who is interested in achieving and maintaining good health.

I
have worked with Dawn for several years in larger group and private
sessions, and in both settings, I have found her to be extremely
intuitive. She offers guidance when needed but can also take that step
back which allows for real personal connection and the discovery of "A
Ha" moments for those she is working with. I have always been drawn to
her quiet, gentle manner and the beauty I see in her process when
working with others. When I schedule time with Dawn, I know I will
leave the session having worked the pieces that are present for me in
the time I am with her. The flow and ease that she exhibits during a
session have always proven to be just what I have needed, have allowed
me to come into a space where everything connects and just plain makes
sense for where I am at! Thank you Dawn for the wonderful work you do
and for sharing your talents with the world!

I am fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with Dawn Lipinski for over 15 years. She has always been consistently pleasant, tackling all my physical issues with immense dedication and a wonderful smile. I am a very aggressive, physically active person, participating in basketball, racquetball and tennis. These activities have not always been kind to my body and as a result of over forty years of abuse I have developed numerous sports injuries, some resulting in surgery. Working through these injuries with Dawn has enabled me to continue all my physical activities. Frankly, without her intervention my life would have morphed into a sedentary existence. She has been an extraordinary asset to both my structural and mental well being; always having the uncanny ability to hone in on the areas causing the greatest discomfort and pain. Besides being a joy to work with Dawn has been a great coach who is able to present creative solutions to the mind body and spiritual collaborative. I would not hesitate to recommend Dawn to any
individual or organization.

Joanne is insightful,
honest and kind - crucial traits in a person whose job it is to come into your
home or business and help sort out the quagmire! You know how when you
try to turn your chaos into order it often results in more chaos along the way?
Joanne has a wonderful way of guiding this process which keeps it from being
overwhelming, yet our work together truly transformed our office space and
business processes, as well as parts of our living space. It all works
better. She's a master at separating the wheat from the chaff. She
comes in with her outside perspective, really listens to you and studies the
situation, and is able to intuit the big picture and
identify priorities. Even though it's a lot of work, the process is
fun because it's a thrill to feel empowered to make tangible changes in areas
where we've been so stuck - and also, Joanne keeps it fun because she's a
pleasure to work with!

I experienced Joanne
as facilitator in a weekend workshop. Joanne's presence, patience, and insight
provided me with an opportunity to feel safe and trusting. Her ability to
connect with people on a deep and energetic level is a gift that I witnessed.
She has helped me to realize a shift in my spiritual path.
Theresa,
It is difficult to
put the work Joanne and I have done together in to words. She has
helped me so much over the years, that to go in to the detail would take
pages. My mother was recently diagnosed with Stage IV, inoperable
lung cancer. She is my sole surviving parent, as I lost my father
15 years ago. Joanne has witnessed and guided me through much of my
work around both my parents and knows the intricacies of those
relationships. My mom and I have struggled with enmeshment of our
identities in our relationship from the moment I was probably conceived,
but definitely from when I was born. Then, my mother suffered with
alcoholism for many years. Once she found sobriety 7 years ago, my
mom and I have both worked hard to repair and heal our relationship to a
healthy mother/daughter one. To say this diagnosis launched me in to
crisis is an understatement. However, through the work I have done
with Joanne and our mentor, I was able to find Self and really be present with
everything that was going on. Joanne was my touch-point!
Whatever I needed to talk about, I called her. Even though I was in
Julie,
For over a decade
Joanne has been my life coach. From the beginning, I found
myself telling Joanne my life story with such ease, knowing that I would not be
judged. Every bit of advice and each
observation resonates with me at one time or another, impacting my life for the
better. Even when I don’t agree with
Joanne, her insightfulness and intuition are right on the money. Now that she is in the right place in her life,
others will be able to benefit from her knowledge, life experience, and
wisdom. My life would be very different
had I not met Joanne, and I am thankful for her.

Accessing Your Male Energy - a workshop for men
Facilitated by Adrian Wilkins and Walter Bacigalupo
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The workshop was very succinct and to the point. It was the right time and the right place for where I am now and I find that, due to its simplicity, I am better able to focus on the feeling of not struggling and trying to recapture that feeling as many moments of the day as possible. Thank you.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Adrian and Walter make a great team and have an effective technique for us men to tap into our male power. We each had a try at it and you could see the difference in each guy’s face. It was a great feeling to know you could access this power whenever you want. As a man, it’s rare to find other like minded men to share this type of work in a safe supportive environment. Thanks again to Adrian and Walter and I hope they continue with more male oriented workshops.
Rick, Andover MA
Thank you for organizing the Men's Group. I was moved, very deeply, by the experience. My reflections are below.
All arrived, tangled in shoelaces bought in Boystown.
But within the arms of two men, arms compassionate and firm with
wisdom, each of us transformed.
Our faces, a photograph of struggle, leaped, laughed, and lightened to
essence. And man-by-man, we learned to allow - and left as brothers.
What's Next?! Workshop
Facilitated by Joanne Lutz and Jamie Thurber
"What's Next?!" was TRANSFORMATIONAL for me! The way the course has been designed is amazing...each day is structured to build upon the last. I have done an immense amount of personal growth work; however, I don't think I would have reached this level of living in core, authenticity and striving to manifest my intentions and gifts if I had not taken the "What's Next?!" course!
Julie Punishill
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have done a lot of personal growth workshops and found this series incredibly exhilarating and growth producing. I am learning to trust my own process and find what's next, not through struggle, but through the joy of trust and growth. In this process, I let go of my 36 year home, bought a condo with my future wife, and started a new coaching business. How is that for What's Next?!Walter Bacigalupo
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Life is a journey and there is always something "next" in everyone's future. For me, this series helped me to discover that I have a lot to offer...and it is inside of me! I learned that I am deserving of my own respect and attention, and now have tools to truly listen to and care for me. I found the facilitators to be respectful, encouraging and open. I felt safe and reassured throughout. In particular, the small group environment allowed a closeness and trust that was very palpable. I felt support throughout the journey. This is a great course for anyone!
What's Next?! was truly a great experience. I brought something away from each class, and found the group process to be one of the best parts for me. Everyone added to the experience and the facilitators were awesome!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was a great course. It was not what I originally thought it might be. It wasn't about trying to figure out what I would be doing in the future, but more a way of learning my strengths and how they will guide me into what's next in my life, supporting me to deal with whatever may come.
NM, Pelham, NH
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The only way this workshop series could have been better for me is if I'd taken it three years ago. I will absolutely recommend it to others!
MB, Lowell, MA
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I came to this workshop "to help me find my true purpose" - why I was put on this planet. By the end of the series, I was able to see that I was looking outside myself for something to "do" or a purpose to fulfill. Now, I am looking inward to who I really am and what I have to offer in any situation that I find myself in. And how to create a sense of peace and ability to be true to myself. I'm also able to be aware of those times that I'm not able to be myself and to watch and start to see what's going on for me at those times too.
Joanne and Jamie are great individually and also as a team. Their co-leadership was seamless and each brought different energy and strengths to the workshop days. I loved Jamie's musical intuitiveness and the meditations that he brought to the group. Joanne's capability to get to the root of what's really going on for me is such a gift.
I'd recommend this to anyone who is open and looking to reach another level of awareness and understanding about themselves and their lives. Thank you Jamie and Joanne!

I had high expectations; this was MUCH better. I received so much!!! I have recommended the What's Next?! Workshop to many people because I believe in this group process to make life-long changes in how one can live life more fully!!!!
A wonderful level of trust was built so that I could openly express myself and move through areas of discomfort and feel incredibly supported by all those around me. I really enjoyed being part of the support for the other members as well. I learned so much from participating in their process as well as mine.
Through this workshop, I've realized I have so many choices and options, and I learned how I have conditioned myself to limit my success/happiness and full enjoyment of life. I now have a very full bag of tricks and techniques to carry me through difficult situations and I know that I can make significant change in my life because I am watching it happen before my eyes!!
RM, Hollis, NH
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It couldn't have been better! Initially I thought this workshop was "Do this and this and you will find or get this." It was not so concrete. To my amazement, I found it was about me connecting with my true self and digging deep to unleash the possibilities as to "What's Next?!" I was given the tools to navigate through all the things that were keeping me from finding and moving forward to "What's Next." By using the many tools I've learned to keep me connected to my core self, I've transformed the person who started the workshop in January into a connected, happy, and whole human being.
MW, Cambridge, MA
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This workshop challenged me in new ways and I loved every minute of it. With your patience, encouragement, and a bit of nudge, you really helped to get us where we needed to go.
VT, Medford, MA
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Believe it or not - the title for each day was so helpful to me - these allowed me to prepare and see how the day may possibly unfold. I am at a point in my life where I know how important it is to have a support system in place for myself. This workshop was an important piece of that support, and I would not hesitate to attend a "next step" follow-up series to this workshop if it is created. This was really and truly a path to discover another way, a better way, for myself to just be in this world. It has helped me to become more connected to myself which also allows for deeper and more meaningful connections in all areas of my life. I would highly recommend Jamie and Joanne - especially in this kind of work - where individuals really want to discover who they are, what they can let go of, all in preparation for "What's Next?!"
This class was better than I expected! I felt good about myself, my future, my ability to adopt different habits to enable me to be a caregiver rather than a caretaker. I'm thrilled to know the difference between the two. It was an extremely positive experience.
I've worked with Joanne before, and I'm thankful that she always presents me with a challenge. In this class, I learned something new about myself and got positive reinforcement for what I already know.
The best part of this class for me was coming to understand the difference between "giving" and "taking." I am grateful for the reminder to always be "present" with my mom on the phone. I'm going to try to do more caregiving, in the spirit of the season.
